My Current Supplement Stack (And How I Decide What to Take)

I’m often asked what supplements I personally take, and the answer is… it depends.

Supplements should be just thatsupplemental to the rest of what you’re doing to care for your body. I don’t take them continuously or religiously. I stay flexible, adjust based on how I’m feeling, and make choices based on my current needs.

Here’s what I’m taking right now—and why:

Protein & Collagen

  • Mary Claire Haver’s Collagen: A patient turned me onto this. It has 9g of protein per scoop, tastes good, and is easy to mix with water.

  • Momentous Chocolate Whey Protein: I meant to buy the unflavored one for lattes, but ended up with chocolate. It’s a little sweet for me, but it worked well before training.

Travel Support

  • Electrolyte Synergy (Designs for Health): I use this when flying to help with hydration and altitude adjustment.

Muscle, Immune & Cellular Support

  • Creatine (Thorne): A hot topic these days. It upset my stomach when I first tried it, so I plan to reintroduce slowly.

  • Vitamin D with K (Thorne): A staple in my routine.

  • Tri-Liposomal Glutathione (Researched Nutritionals): Love this for antioxidant and detox support.

  • Fish Oil: I’m out right now, but it’s something I usually take consistently.

  • Multivitamin – Physician’s Daily (Researched Nutritionals): I appreciate that it’s just one pill, not six.

Immune & Respiratory Support

  • Quercetin Phytosome (Thorne): I’m using this to support lingering respiratory issues post-flu.

Gut Health

  • SporeBiotic (Microbiome Labs): I rotate my probiotics, and this is the one I’m using now.

What I’d Like to Add

  • B Complex and CoQ10, which are especially important for women over 50 and currently missing from my stack.

I’m not tied to a single brand—I try things out, listen to my body, and look for options I tolerate well. Everyone’s needs are different, and the “right” supplement is the one that works for you.

One last thing to note is I purchase pharmaceutical-grade supplements so I can ensure quality.  I don't buy them at Walmart, Walgreens, or the grocery store.
