Women’s Island Retreat
Women’s Island Retreat
September 11–13, 2026
Presented by Ocean Explorers Maine and Whole Woman Health with Carrie Levine, CNM
Step away from the noise of daily life and into the beauty of a remote Maine island for a restorative women’s retreat centered on wellness, adventure, connection, and time in nature.
Led in partnership by Ocean Explorers Maine and Carrie Levine of Whole Woman Health, this three-day retreat offers a rare opportunity to recharge in the wild beauty of Merchant Row, surrounded by ocean, sky, tides, and the quiet rhythm of island life.
Throughout the weekend, participants will be invited into meaningful women’s wellness discussions, fresh and nourishing meals, solo time, journaling, yoga, island exploration, and Ocean Explorers activities designed to build confidence, resilience, and connection to the natural world.
Offerings may include cold plunges, stand-up paddleboarding, chart navigation, fire starting, basic seamanship skills, knot tying, rowing, star gazing, and time to simply rest and take in the beauty of the Maine coast.
Ocean Explorers Maine brings a deep commitment to adventure-based learning, coastal ecology, seamanship, and the belief that time outdoors helps strengthen the body, mind, and spirit. Carrie Levine brings her whole-woman approach to health, inviting reflection on what it means to care for ourselves through changing seasons of life.
This retreat is for women who are craving space to breathe, reconnect with themselves, spend time in nature, and experience the grounding power of simple living, shared meals, meaningful conversation, and island beauty.
Come recharge yourself by camping on a private Maine island, waking to the sounds of seagulls and lobster boats, relaxing to the tides, and remembering what it feels like to feel strong, present, and fully alive.

Midcoast Maine Midlife Conference
I am thrilled to be a part of the midlife conference happening in Rockport this fall.
The event has already sold more than half of the tickets, so if you're on the fence about joining - I would grab a ticket ASAP!
Women in the clinic frequently comment on how no one is talking about midlife, there is a dearth of information, and it feels like a lonely and tumultuous time.
The visionary group of people putting this conference together aim to change that.
The line-up of speakers and topics is great, the venue is beautiful, and I have no doubt the attention to detail will result in an exquisite learning experience for women and men (bring your partners!!!) 💞
